Our Mission
The Nichelle R. Smith Low Income Taxpayer Clinic (NRSLITC) puts professional tax preparation and resolution services within reach for underserved people struggling to resolve income tax issues and gain control of their finances. Founded in Lancaster, Texas by IRS Enrolled Agent Nichelle Smith, our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization provides a range of free and reduced financial services to eligible low-to-moderate income taxpayers. Our services encompass tax preparation, credit repair, tax resolution, and personal finance counseling along with financial and income tax literacy training to help people of all ages develop sound credit and money management habits.
